6 months, I have been in Norway for 6 months, unbelievable. Time goes too fast, I don't want to think of how much time left. I think I am lucky, everything goes success, no big problem.
Having a good family. They really take care of me. They pick me up from training every week, even though is far away from home. They gave me a bus card if I need it, it saves me lots of money. (haha) When they travel to watch host brother handball's match, they would bring me with. I have much freedom and always have an opportunity to choose. They always talk with me to care about me. When I cook Hong Kong for them, they appreciate and I feel really success and glad. I think they are a really good in being a host family even though this is their first time. In the future, I hope they can host more exchange students, let more students experience Norway life.

Having many nice friends. In school, seems all the girls in my class are my friends since there are only 9 girls in class. They are nice and kind, different from Hong Kong friends. They help me face many problems. For example, when we go to ice skating in gym class, they try their best to help me and encourage me. Actually I fear of ice skating, I think I will just fall, fall, fall and fall all the time. I don't want to go instead of escape. When I got my ski shoes, one of my classmate initiative to come to me and help me tie up my ski shoes. Then she use 激將法to encourage me. (不然無朋友做)Finally, I can ski without anyone help.
Norwegian like to encourage and praise others.
Lets talk about the my Norwegian. Um...... In afs camp, I have meet other exchange students. Most of them can listen and speak fluently. For me, I can hear little and understand little. I can do basic and easy communication, but not every sentence I can understand. When I have individual talk with the afs volunteer, she said I can speak Norwegian and I can hit my target. Many people also said I can speak good Norsk, like my teacher and friends. I think I can be much better, I am just lazy.

This year, the weather is not so good. Do not have much snow. Most of the time is ice road with hard snow. After raining, the ice road become more slippery. This weather is not so suitable for skiing, so I don't have many chance to ski. First time, I just practice in home garden. After 4 days, home training, I go to forest to have my first cross-country skiing. That was a tough trip, I ski for about 3km in 2hours. My host parents are impressed by me. In the trip, I have fall at least 10 times, every time when I go down slope. I still don't believe I can do it. However, after the ski, there is 1 bubble on my each foot sole. My next cross-country is in afs camp. In that forest, all road are flat, thus, I can do it really well without falling. I start to love cross-country skiing.
